Mr. Seville Schofield Funk, 93, of Harrisburg, passed away Monday, October 29, 2018 at PruittHealth – Town Center in Harrisburg. Mr. Funk was born October 3, 1925 in New York to the late Roscoe Conklin and Florence Esther Funk. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Seville Funk, Jr. and his brother, Roscoe C. Funk, Jr

Mr. Funk served in US Army in the 10th Mt. Division during WWII in Italy. He retired as Philadelphia Zone business manager of General Motors Corporation.

Mr. Funk was a member of the Masonic Order of Freemasons, Military Order of Purple Heart, Kiwanis International Key Club Leader, Disabled American Veterans Life Member, Presbyterian USA Elder, Colonial Williamsburg volunteer for ten years and Sigma Nu Fraternity Beta Pho. Survivors include: his wife, Helen Ann Funk, son, Ronald Funk (Crystal), daughters, Elizabeth Petterson (Brian), Charlotte Ann Muolo (Carl), Lydia Whittingham (Tom); daughter-in-law, Rhonda; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018, at 11:00 am, located at Rocky River Presbyterian Church, 7940 Rocky River Road, Concord, NC 28025 with Rev. Neal Carter officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Military Order Purple Heart #634, 740 Charter Place, Charlotte, NC 28211-5614, Rocky River Presbyterian Church building fund, or a charity of your choice Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg is serving the Funk family.
