Obituary for James “Jim” Bowman CHARLOTTE- Mr. James “Jim” Garfield Bowman, 80, passed away on August 29, 2018. Jim was born on January 29, 1938 in Dauphin Co., PA to the late Paul and Thelma Lance Bowman. Jim had worked for many years as a manager with different Powder Coating Companies.

His real passion was cars, from showing them to rebuilding them, he loved everything car related. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Anne McElroy Bowman; sons, Christopher Bowman, Lance Bowman and wife, Lori, James “Jim” Bowman; grandchildren, Patrick Sivavec, Jennifer Barnhardt and husband, Jake, Robert Bowman; great-granddaughter, Emily Anne Barnhardt; half-sister, Saundra Bowman; half-brother, Roger Bowman and wife, Faye. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Bible Broadcasting Network, P.O. Box 7300, Charlotte, NC 28241-7300.
