Billy Wade Kimbell, 84, of Magnolia, AR passed away Monday, February 18, 2019 at Wentworth Place in Magnolia, AR. Billy was born on November 30, 1934 in Lamartine, AR to the late Wade Kimbell and Laura Ruth (Polk) Kimbell Johnson. He was a member of Antioch West Baptist Church and retired as plant operator from AP&L.

He was active in the Columbia County Hayride as a vocalist and was a MC for a while. He was an avid reader, enjoying westerns and Stuart Woods books. Billy enjoyed singing and playing guitar.

He loved fishing, camping, and boating with his family and friends. Billy was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Laurie Kimbell; and brothers, Terry Kimbell and Bobby Kimbell. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Pat Kimbell of Magnolia, AR; daughters, Sheree Milligan and husband Doug of Conway, AR and Susan Jack and husband Scotty of Magnolia, AR; grandsons, Chris Milligan and wife Jen of Fayetteville, AR, Jasper Jack and wife Sherry of Magnolia, AR, and Cory Jack and wife Magen of El Dorado, AR; granddaughter Sarah Milligan of Conway, AR; five great granddaughters; and 2 great grandsons.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at the Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Chris Lucy and Bro. Aaron Middleton officiating.

Burial will follow at the Shiloh Lamartine Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia, AR. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Rodney Dyson, Johnny Sprayberry, Earl McDonald, Jasper Jack, Cory Jack, and Wayne Stevens.

Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Don Olson, Jimmy Ellis, Larry Polk, and Raymond Kimbell. The family requests memorial donations be sent to the Wounded Warriors Project, www. support.
