Cassie Farrar, 80, of Magnolia, AR passed away Sunday, March 17, 2019 at the Fox Ridge Assisted Living Center in North Little Rock, AR. Cassie was born April 18, 1938 in Stamps, AR. She was a member of the Central Baptist Church and was retired from Southern Arkansas University.

She enjoyed crafting, crocheting, and reading. She was preceded in death by her parents Willie Fay and Salee Evelyn (Hollis) Hanson; husband Doug Martel Farrar; and nephew James Traywick. She is survived by her sister Patsy Traywick of Stamps; niece Patricia Scott and husband James of North Little Rock; great nieces Jennifer Higgins and husband Kieran of Paris, France and Jessica Greenfield of North Little Rock; great-great nephew Tommy Higgins; great-great niece Nora Higgins; special friend Darrell Morrison of Little Rock.

Graveside services will be Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery with Bro. Steve Ford officiating under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
