Christine Cheatham, 94, of Aledo, TX passed away Monday, March 4, 2019 at the Texas Health Southwest Medical Center in Ft. Worth, TX. Christine was born July 4, 1924 in Columbia County, AR to the late Delos and Lucy (Cherry) Kyle.

She was a homemaker and a lifelong member of the Macedonia Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 55 years William D Cheatham; sister Mildred Wreyford; and son in law David Collins. She is survived by her daughter Lenora Pope and husband Bill of Aledo, TX; grandchildren John Michael Collins of Aledo, TX and Jeffrey Collins and wife Crystal of Midlothian, TX; great granddaughter Desi Collins of Midlothian, TX; nephews Jackie Wreyford of Waldo, AR and Wayne Wreyford of Magnolia, AR; niece Judy Groce of Texarkana, TX.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Macedonia Baptist Church with Bro. Joe Owens and Bro. Ronnie Johnson officiating.

Burial will follow at the Harmony Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia. Visitation will be Friday, March 8 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be John Michael Collins, Jeffrey Collins, Wayne Wreyford, and Marc Groce.
