Mr. Billy Wayne Wilburn, age 79, of Hohenwald, formerly of Lewisburg, died May 1, 2018 at Maury Regional Hospital. Mr. Wilburn was a native of Giles County, the son of the late Clinton W. and Mattie McCormick Wilburn. He retired from ICP and was a member of the Highland Baptist Church in Hohenwald.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Evelyn Dell Roberts Wilburn, one son, Kenneth Wayne Wilburn, and one sister, Edna Earl Cobb. He is survived by his wife, Jimmie Wilburn, one daughter, Vickie Lynn (Glenn) Brannon of Lewisburg, one son, Ricky Ray (Sylvia) Wilburn of Lewisburg, one sister, Sharon (Thomas Allen) Pickle of South Carolina, one brother, Clinton W. Wilburn Jr. of Pulaski, three step sons, John, Tony, and Jeff Schleicher, and one step daughter, Karen Schleicher. Four grandchildren, eight step grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and seven step great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Mars Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Thursday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 pm and will continue on Friday until the funeral hour. London Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
