Obituary for Blake C. Walker WALKER, Blake C. – 26, of Del Haven passed away unexpectedly on Thursday morning, November 22, 2018. Blake was born in Cape May Court House and has been a Cape May County resident his entire life. He graduated from Lower Cape May Regional High School where even at this very young age he began his career in the commercial fishing industry.

He started out working with his family’s business, Walker Brothers Fisheries, LLC and currently he was working for Lund’s Fisheries aboard the Eva Marie. Always a kid at heart, he enjoyed skateboarding, paintballing and playing video games. He enjoyed seeing the people around him being happy and anyone who was around him enjoyed his sense of humor, playfulness, kindness, thoughtfulness and overall fun-loving spirit that will certainly live on in all who will always love him.

Blake is forever loved and missed by his family which includes mother, Nancy Mossey; father, John Walker; two brothers, John Walker, Jr. “Bubby” and Andrew Walker; paternal grandparents, Marie and Ronnie Walker; maternal grandmother, Crystal McConeghy; step-sisters; step-brothers; girlfriend, Sharon Elizabeth Cox; as well as his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and many dear friends, all of whom Blake loved dearly. Relatives and friends will be received on Thursday (Nov. 29th) from 10am until 11am in the Spilker Funeral Home, 815 Washington St., Cape May where Blake’s funeral service will begin at 11am.

Interment is private and at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested for convenience and acknowledgment purposes through “In Memory Of” online at www. inmemof.org/blake-walker to benefit The Make A Wish Foundation or to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
