OBITUARY Blas A. Sanchez Sr. November 11, 1928 – July 20, 2018 Blas A. Sanchez Sr., a loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away July 20, 2018 at the age of 89. He was born on November 11, 1928 to Jesus and Maria Sanchez in Palmer, Texas. Blas worked 51 years for Commercial Metals.

After retirement, he enjoyed going to the Northwest Senior Center. He was a faithful member of Sinai Evangelistic Center with Pastor Raul Rodriguez. Blas is preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Maria Sanchez and his wife of 33 years, Josephine Martinez Sanchez.

He is survived by his children, Blas Sanchez Jr. (Gloria), Ernest Sanchez Sr. (Oralia), Eli Sanchez (Nora), and Gabriel Sanchez (Rosario); 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 pm that same evening. A Chapel Service will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home at 10:00 am.

Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
