Bobby Leamon (Bob) Scott passed from this life on Saturday, March 9, 2019. Bob was born May 10, 1931 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Dennis J. Scott and Eunice Lawson Scott. Bob married Neva Berlyne Holbrook on September 30, 1949 in Elm Grove, Oklahoma.

They remained in Elm Grove and together raised three boys. He retired after over 40 years as a union iron worker with the Local 584. Bob and Berlyne shared a Christian faith and were both baptized in 1974 in a farm pond by Cordell Coppin.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis John and Eunice Scott; and son, Bobby Michael Scott; and brother, Toby Scott. He is survived by his wife, Berlyne, of the home; sons, Randy Scott and Russ Scott and wife Teresa; grandchildren, M.J. Scott and wife Tina, Wes Scott and wife Kelsey, Clint Scott, Joel Scott, Wade Scott and wife Mandy and Brea Battenfield and husband Justin; great-grandchildren, Chooch Scott, Maci Scott, Eli Scott, Tenley Battenfield, Calloway Battenfield, Molly Scott, Alexis Scott, Ava Scott and Sloane Scott; and sister, Sue Hughes. Funeral services celebrating Bob’s life will be 2PM, Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Cordell Coppin and Bobby Botts officiating.

Interment will be at Greenhill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be M.J. Scott, Wesley Scott, Joel Scott, Wade Scott, Clint Scott, Ricky Chitwood and Chooch Scott. Funeral services are under the direction of Cornerstone Funeral Home & Crematory, 1830 N York St Muskogee, OK 74403.
