Bobby” Mirl” Sloan, age 85 years of Wewoka, OK, departed this liie on Thursday, December 27, 2018 in Holdenville, OK. He was born June 1, 1933 in Byars, Oklahoma to the late Vernie Ebenezer Sloan and Jessie Annie Smith Sloan. On February 1, 1957 he married Joetta Lee in Shawnee, OK and to this union four children were born.

Preceding Mirl in death are his parents, brothers Julius Sloan, Cleo Sloan, Raymond Sloan, J W Sloan, Alton Sloan, Ira Sloan, Alfred Sloan, and Doyle Sloan; two sisters Irene Sloan and Ola Barnett. Survivors included his wife of 61 years Joettta Sloan of Wewoka, OK; children Bobby Sloan ane wife Debra of Mustang, OK , Wanda Killgo Hoface, and husband Hugh of Oklahoma City, Kathy Davis and husband Rodney of Shawnee, O:, Debbie Factor and husband Antonio Factor of Seminole, OK; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; one brother Donald Sloan of Shawnee, OK, two sisters Helen Perkins of Shawnee, OK and Naomi Moore of Lawton, OK and a host of other relatives and friends. Pall bearers will be Bobby E. Sloan, Rodney Davis, Antonio Factor, Hugh Hofacer, Glen Sloan, and Ryan Killgo and John Reece.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home, with Pastor Wayne Sloan, and burial at Tecumseh Cemetery.
