Bobby Sanchez, 57, of Sierra Vista, AZ passed away on December 23, 2018 in Tucson, AZ. He was born in Chicago, IL on April 6, 1961. He and his wife of 27 years, Diana, moved to Sierra Vista from West Milford, NJ in 1996.

They had two daughters together; Lauren and Anna. Bobby spent six years in the United States Air Force. He earned his bachelor’s degree at Rutger’s University.

He worked as a Supervisory Border Patrol Agent, and retired after 20 years of service. Some of the things he loved were hiking, bicycling with his daughters, fishing, playing online games, and spending his evenings grilling outside surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife Diana, their two daughters Lauren and Anna; his sisters Wendy Avila, Juanita Sanchez-Grob; brother-in-law Andy Avila; his sister-in-law Deborah Mossey; sister-in-law Karina Sanchez; his step-father Eduardo Diaz and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Sixta Maria Diaz and brother, Marcus Sanchez. A memorial service will be held January 4, 2019, 2:00 PM at the Hatfield Funeral Home.
