Bonita Ranelli Flynn of New Haven died suddenly on April 20, 2018 in Branford. She was born in New Haven on March 20, 1942 to the late James V. and Margaret Varipapa Ranelli. Bonita worked for the US Census Bureau for 22 years before opening her own business Flynn Interviewing Service which she operated until retiring.

She was a volunteer at St. Francis Church in New Haven and also chaired the Strawberry Festival committee. She was a pet lover and die-hard Yankee fan. She is survived by her sons William and Shannon Flynn and was predeceased by her brother James V. Ranelli, Jr. Funeral services and burial will be private.
