Obituary for Gloria T. DesPierre Gloria T. Price DesPierre, 88, of Hamden passed away peacefully on Friday, May 25,2018 at Midstate Medical Center with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late Donald L. DesPierre Sr. and is survived by her children, Donald L. DesPierre Jr. of VT, Doreen DesPierre (Terry Frankenburg) of Southington, Claudia Kirkland of Alexandria Bay, NY, Laurie Grimaldi of Meriden and Jean Chinigo of Southington. Also survived by two brothers Philip Price of Branford and Robert Price of Cheshire, twelve grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents Claude and Beatrice DaRos Price and a son in law David Chinigo. She was born Dec. 3,1929 in New Haven , was a graduate of Hamden High School class of 1947 and had been employed as a secretary and bookkeeper for several legal and engineering firms.

Gloria was a longtime dedicated member of St. Joan of Arc Church in Hamden and had been a Cub Scout Den Mother and Girl Scout cookie drive chairman. She enjoyed swimming, playing bridge and spending time at the family home in Florida. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday morning at 10:00 in St. Joan of Arc Church, Hamden.

Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call at Sisk Brothers Funeral Home, 3105 Whitney Ave. , Hamden, Wednesday from 5-7 pm.
