Bonnie Lou (Knoke) LaMaster, age 73 of Seymour, passed away on Friday, October 12, 2018 at her home. Born March 4, 1945 in Seymour, she was the daughter of Silas and Virginia (Cordes) Knoke. Bonnie was a 1963 graduate of Seymour High School and a 1964 graduate of University of Beauty Culture Licensed Cosmetology.

She worked as a licensed cosmologist for many years having worked at Carousal Beauty Salon and All in One Care where she retired from. She was one of the founders of the Jackson County Humane Society where she held a seat on the board.

Bonnie loved animals and she spent many years living her passion of rescuing animals. She leaves behind many pets she loved especially Tyson. Survivors include two children, Jennifer (Eli) Torres of Orlando and Jolene LaMaster (Michael Joseph) of Seymour; her siblings, Sandra Zickler and John (Connie) Knoke all of Seymour; seven grandchildren, Halie Dube (Mickey Nichols), Marlie LaMaster, Maxwell Davis, Ethan Torres, Jessica (Nathan) Askins, Kelsey LaMaster and Katie LaMaster; several nieces and nephews including, Lisa Hackman, Julie(Dave) Luecke, Craig Zickler, Lydia (Micah) Finchum and Jason (Delena) Knoke.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother in law Bob Zickler. Pastor Gary Dyer will conduct funeral services at 7:00pm on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre in Seymour. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00pm until service time at the funeral home.

Burial will be held at a later date at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Friends can make memorial contributions at the funeral home to Bonnie LaMaster Memorial Fund. Friends can sign the guestbook or share a favorite memory at www.
