Obituary for Bonnie Reba Savage Bonnie Reba Savage, 77, left this mortal existence (without our permission) on May 31, 2018 in Lehi, Utah. She was born July 13, 1940 to Harold and Reba Bown in Salt Lake City, UT. Bonnie loved everyone and everything, especially life; she lived it to the fullest and enjoyed the simple things.

Her life was devoted entirely to her family and the Gospel. Her mother taught her to bake and cook, but baking was her passion; her lifeline. She was always in the kitchen making a smorgasbord so she could feed her family and the entire neighborhood.

She enjoyed being outdoors, whether she was having BBQ’s in the canyons, picnics at the park, gardening, fishing with her grandkids, laying out, soaking up the Summer sun, and sleeping under the stars in her backyard. Her daily motto was dress to impress and would always tell us that “a women’s hair is her crowning glory”. She appreciated her family heritage and took her family on several trips to Brigham City, where her aunt and uncle owned Nielson Fruit Stands.

She was a true patriot; she loved her country and those who fought and died for her freedom. She was very active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served many years in the Primary; her best friends were always the little children. Bonnie attended East High School and became a Certified Nurses Assistant.

She loved working and was very dedicated to her job. She loved working with the children in the Canyons School District where she worked until the age of 74. Bonnie will be lovingly remembered by her children; Christine (Gary) Monteer, John (Meredith) Harris, Cindy (Marlin) Hansen, Matthew (Jennifer) Harris, Kari (Lynn) Eschler, 19 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 3 brothers; Boyd Bown, Stephen Bown, and David Bown.

Bonnie has been reunited with her parents Harold and Reba Bown, her sister Merilyn Davis, and her daughter Sheila Bonnie Harris Mair. A Celebration of Bonnie’s life will be held at the Sunrise Meadows LDS Chapel (947 Jack Rabbit Run, Saratoga Springs, UT 84045) on June 6, 2018. The Viewing will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by the Funeral Services at 11:00 AM (lunch will be provided afterwards).

The Interment will follow at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park (3401 S. Highland Dr., Salt Lake City, UT 84106). Please share any memories and condolences at www. serenityfhs.com.
