Obituary for Lloyd Meadows Gustaveson Lloyd Meadows Gustaveson passed away at his home in Sandy Utah on July16th 2018. He’s 93 years old. Our Husband, Dad and Grandfather was born April 3, 1925 in Devils Slide, Utah to Melvin and Viola Meadows Gustaveson.

He married Barbara June Francis in the Salt Lake Temple on November 26, 1947. They have 5 children, 18 grandchildren and 58 great grand children. He is survived by: His beautiful wife of 70 years Barbara Gustaveson, His brother Verl Gustaveson (Mary) of Orem, Utah, His three sisters Donna Bryson (George) of Coalville, Utah, Deone Cox (Bryant) of Missouri and Corrine Shaw (Ray) of Heber, Utah.

Of his 5 children: L. Michael Gustaveson (Linda) of Riverton, Utah, Carolyn Seale (Doug) of Orem, Utah and Joan Hintz (Tim) of Peoria, Arizona are still living. Two daughters, Janet Gustaveson and Lisa Burntson have preceeded him in death. Dad Served in the Navy during WWII.

In his own words, “I credit my service in the Navy for gaining self-confidence, personal discipline and rerdzt/fulness”. Those very characteristics were apparent throughout his employment, church service and family life. In addition he was fun and fun loving; curious and adventuresome; An artist and creator of gadgets.

In considering why this man meant so much to so many people, I think it was because if you were 2 or 102 he listened when you talked. He enjoyed your company and you knew it. He loved you and you could tell.

Dad loved His Father in Heaven and His Son Jesus Christ and taught all of us to do the same. He was grateful and expressed gratitude and taught all of us to be the same. He was patient and kind and taught all of us to do the same.

When a great man like Lloyd leaves this world it leaves a giant hole that will be hard to fill. When a great man like Lloyd/husband/Dad/Grandpa loves you know you will be loved forever. Funeral services will be held Saturday July 21, 2018 in the Mt.

Jordan 6th ward chapel (300 East 9331 South, Sandy Utah). There will be a viewing beginning at 9:30am. The funeral will follow at 11:00.

A luncheon will be provided immediately after. The dedication of the grave will take place in the South Morgan cemetery approximately 3:00 on that same day. Upcoming Events Viewing , JUL 21.
