Brandin Meredith, 21 Former Kearney resident Brandin Meredith, 21 of Williston, ND, formerly of Kearney, died Friday, February 8, 2019 at his home. Funeral services will be 9:30 am Saturday, February 16, 2019 at the First Lutheran Church in Kearney. The Rev.

Dr. Michelle Holly Carlson and Rev. Dr. Rick Carlson will officiate. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Callaway following the service.

The family has kindly requested visitation for family and close friends only from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Friday at the O’Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Home in Kearney. Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation. Condolences may be shared online at www.

osrfh.com. Services are entrusted to O’Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral and Cremation Services. Brandin was born June 4, 1997 in Kimball, Nebraska to Robert and Taffe (Nourse) Meredith.

He grew up in Kearney and graduated from Kearney High School. He also lived in Williston, North Dakota and was formerly employed by Spyder Oil Field Service and Gamber Energy Services. Brandin had a passion for playing hockey.

He cherished his time and the friendships he made while on the Tri City Storm team. Along with hockey, Brandin held a special place in his heart for his family and his cat, Eva. He was a member of the New Life Church in Kearney.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Taffe Nourse-Meredith and Robert Meredith and his significant other, Jennifer Landsem; brothers, Sebastian and Greyson Meredith and Brodey McMinn; sister, Olivia McMinn; grandparents, Deb and Dennis Nourse, Linda Steffen and Judy and Allen Meredith; aunts and uncles, Alan and Jenissa Meredith and Tiffany and Scott Thielen; along with many other relatives and friends. Brandin was preceded in death by his grandmother, Arlene Meredith; great-grandparents, Pete and Hazel Schoene, Dale Cannon, LaVerne (Bill) and Fern Stonehocker and Russell Nourse; uncles, Steve Nourse and Andrew Meredith; and great-uncle, Eddy Cannon.
