OBITUARY Brenda Cherry Williams August 7, 1950 – July 1, 2006 Mrs. Brenda Cherry Williams, 55 of Shreveport, LA passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2006 after a brief illness with cancer. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 3, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in Centuries Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Pastor David Daniel of Broadmoor Assembly of God Church.

Burial will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 2, 2006 at Centuries. Brenda was born August 7, 1950 in Shreveport, LA to James and Dovie Cherry.

She lived most of her adult life in the Shreveport/Bossier area. She attended Airline High School. She was preceded in death by her father James John Cherry and best friend Karen Poe.

She is survived by her mother Dovie Cherry, of Bossier City, husband Hines Williams of Shreveport, sons James Haynes of Shreveport, Michael Shane Haynes and wife Christine of Shreveport, brothers, Grant Cherry and wife Susan of Shreveport, Glenn Cherry and wife Judy of Ft. Worth and Craig Cherry of Bossier City; grandson Michael Shane Haynes, II of Shreveport, nephew Jonas Cherry and wife Suman of Ft. Worth and niece Amanda Cherry of Bossier City.

Pallbearers will be Grant Cherry, Glenn Cherry, Craig Cherry, Jonas Cherry, John Carter Hennessy and Tim DeHart. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Grace Home or Broadmoor Assembly of God Church.
