OBITUARY Mary Gordon Whiddon November 4, 1932 – November 16, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Mary Jo Gordon Whiddon, age 86, of Stonewall, Louisiana passed away on Friday November 16, 2018. She was born November 4, 1932 in Woodland, Mississippi to Thora Stephenson Gordon and Henry Clarence Gordon. She married James B. Whiddon Sr. on June 29, 1990.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, James B. Whiddon Sr. of Stonewall, LA; daughter, Carmel Jean Gray Wasson and husband Jim of Keithville, LA; step-daughters, Gaye Whiddon Davis and husband Richard of Ashdown, AR; Joy Whiddon Cales and husband David of Springville, TN; and Kimberly Whiddon Jones and husband Eric of Shreveport, LA; step-son James B. Whiddon Jr. and wife Stephanie of Logansport, LA; grandchildren, Megan Hardy, Brennen Culpepper, Katie Cales Lucas, Lyndsey Cales, Amanda Davis, Richard Davis, Lisa Jones, Samuel Whiddon, and Zackery Miller and great-grandchild, Carson Culpepper. She was preceded in death by son, Dennis Durwood Gray; daughter, Patricia Kaye Gray Pennebaker; father, Henry Clarence Gordon; and mother, Thora Stephenson Gordon. A vistiation for Mary Whiddon will be held Monday, November 19, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.

A celebration of life will occur Monday, November 19, 2018 at 2:00 PM with an interment following the service in Centuries Memorial Park. Officiating the services will be Steve Richardson. Serving as pallbearers are Eric Jones, David Cales, Zack Miller, Johnny Smith, Brennen Culpepper and Samuel Whiddon.
