Obituary for Brenda Joyce Hornaday Brenda Joyce Hornaday, age 66, of Dacula, GA passed away on Friday, December 7, 2018. She was preceded in death by her father, Doyle C. Hornaday. She is survived by her mother, Joyce Louise Hankins Hornaday, Dacula, GA; sister, Barbara Lynn Hornaday, Dacula, GA; aunt and uncle, Dottie and Joe Adams, Savannah, GA; first cousins, Leslie Compton, Schler Compton, Scott Compton, Randy Hankins, Greg Hankins, Ann Mann, Allen Adams, Jeff Adams and Joey Adams; and numerous other relatives.

Miss Hornaday was born March 12, 1952 in Pine Bluff, AR. She was a 1970 graduate of Hall High School in Little Rock, AR, a graduate of Brenau University in Gainesville, GA with a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree and she also went to Tennessee Temple College. She had been working on her Doctorate Degree.

She was a school teacher with DeKalb County School System in DeKalb County for the past twenty years. Miss Hornaday was a member of Hebron Baptist Church in Dacula, GA. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 4:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with the Rev.

Mac Palmer officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 12th from 3:30 p.m. until time of service at 4:30 p.m. Funeral services in Pine Bluff will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 16, 2018 in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Dr. Ray Higgins officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hidden Miracle Sunday School Class at Hebron Baptist Church in Dacula, GA in memory of Brenda J. Hornaday.
