Obituary for Catherine M. “Cat” Hubbard Catherine M. “Cat” Hubbard, 88, of Pine Bluff, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 28, 2018, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Hubbard was born October 6, 1930, in Pine Bluff, to the late Hartwell Daniel and Annie Matilda Billingsley Walter. She was reared and received her education in White Hall, where she graduated from White Hall High School.

She was a homemaker and a member of White Hall United Pentecostal Church. Mrs. Hubbard loved helping the people of Jefferson County. She was also known as the “communicator” in her family.

She also loved to cook for her family, church, and friends. She is survived by her son, Gary M. Hubbard of Shreveport, Louisiana; two grandchildren, Richard (Jessica) Davidson of Lonoke County and Kristy Davidson; four great-grandchildren, Sidney, Annie, and Samantha Davidson and Sonny Rucker; two brothers, Ira D. “Bud” Walter of White Hall and John A. Walter of Texarkana, Arkansas; many nieces and nephews and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie C. Hubbard, whom she married on June 3, 1949 in Pine Bluff; daughter, Donna Lynn Hurst; four brothers, Costello “Cos” Walter, Henry H. Walter, Harry “Dan” Walter, and Walter C. “Lum” Walter; four sisters, Lucy Mae Cannon, Hartie Bell Bost, Louise Waddle, and Josie Walter Graves; two great-grandchildren, Harley Lynn Davidson and Brandon Armstrong.

Funeral services will be Thursday, November 1, 2018, 2:00 PM, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverend Chris Dixon officiating. Burial will follow at Hardin Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time.
