Obituary for Billie Ruth Winkler Billie Ruth Winkler, 92, passed away December 12, 2018. She was born August 31, 1926 to George Benjamin Toland and Adeliene George Toland, in DeWitt, AR. Like wise, she was reared and received her early education in DeWitt.

She married her high school sweet heart, Theodore Winkler, on February 5, 1947, in Little Rock, AR. After high school, Billie moved to Little Rock and worked briefly in a plant manufacturing military supplies, during WWII. She was later employed as a telephone operator with SWB.

When Billie married Ted, they moved to Pine Bluff and became a homemaker. Years later she worked for Simmons First National Bank in the credit card department. Being predeceased by her husband and her parents, she is survived by her son, Jeff M. Winkler (Pam); grandchildren, Jeffrey K. Winkler (Ashley), Kelley Atchley (Chad); great grand children, Colin Winkler, Madelyn Winkler, Addison Atchley, and Dylan Atchley.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 3PM-5PM at Ralph Robinson and son Funeral Home. Services for Mrs. Winkler will be held at Ralph Robinson and Son’s Chapel at 10 AM Monday, December 17, 2018; with interment at Dewitt Cemetery, Dewitt, AR.
