Obituary for E.L. “Doc” Bost E.L. “Doc” Bost, 84, of Pine Bluff, formerly of Altheimer, passed away Monday, December 17, 2018 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Mr. Bost was born December 30, 1933 in Keo, son of Ed and Viola Davison Bost. He was reared and received his early education in the Plum Bayou area.

Mr. Bost served in the United States Air Force before joining the family farm in Altheimer. He was a Baptist by faith. Along with his parents, Mr. Bost was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Betty Jo Bost; son, Gregory Bost; daughters, Marilyn Hibbard and Kelli Leigh Porter; brother, Jim Bost; and sister, Frances Whitehead.

Survivors include his daughter, Joanne Reed (Ward); brother, John Algie Bost; sister, Bessie Eskew; grandsons, Jody Hibbard and Jeffery Hibbard; and three great-grandsons. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 19, 2018 in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son with Chaplain Jonathan McEntire officiating. Interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery.
