Brian Dean Walker 60, of Charlestown, IN passed away on Monday September 17, 2018 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN. He was born on November 20, 1957 in Jeffersonville, IN to Robert and Jane Rankin Walker. Brian was a former tire salesman for Huber Tire Co. and a former Charlestown City Councilman.

He was a former Democratic Precinct Committeeman, a member of the North Clark Healthcare Foundation, V.F.W. Post 1427, an avid fan of the University of Louisville Women’s Basketball team and also the Charlestown High School Lady Pirates Basketball team. Brian was preceded in death by his father Robert “Red” Walker. He is survived by his mother, Jane Walker of Charlestown; sisters, Susan Walker of Charlestown and Laura Potts (Mark) of Louisville, KY; and a nephew, Jacob Potts of Louisville.

Cremation was chosen by the family and a Life Celebration will be held at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to P.E.T.A. at PETA.org.
