Virginia Jenkins, 71 of Charlestown passed away on Saturday October 27, 2018 at Wedgewood Healthcare in Clarksville, IN. She was born on January 11, 1947 in Charlestown, IN to Edward and Margaret Johnson Lozier. She spent most of her life as a loving mother and homemaker.

Virginia is survived by her daughters: Jessica Sanchez (Pedro) of Henryville, IN, Cammie Altamirano (Walter) of Charlestown, Sherry May (Dale) of Charlestown, Terri Miller of Otisco, IN, Sandra Curtis (Charles) of Jeffersonville, IN, and Tracy Belden (Daniel) of Scottsburg, IN; sons Timothy Jenkins (Melissa) of Charlestown and William Jenkins of Charlestown; sister Mary Wade of Charlestown; nephew James Pittman of Jeffersonville; 17 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Dorothy Pittman, and her brothers Cecil and Edward Lozier. Funeral Services will be held on Friday November 2, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial to follow in Charlestown Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Thursday November 1, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 PM and again on Friday beginning at 9:00 AM.
