Donna Pelfrey, 72 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, KY. Donna was born on September 22, 1946 in Winchester, KY the daughter of Clay and Elizabeth Hampton Kirby. She retired after several years of service from the Kentucky Center of the Arts in Louisville, KY.

Donna loved her family especially her grandbabies, was an avid Bingo player, enjoyed the Hallmark Channel watching westerns, and was a great cook especially known for her pineapple upside down cake and potato salad. Survivors include her daughter, Debra E. Perez of Charlestown, IN; Robert C. Pelfrey of Lexington, IN and David L. Pelfrey of Otisco, IN; brother, Jerry Kirby of Winchester, KY; sisters, Dorothy Hopper, Winchester, KY, Judy Harris of Nicholasville, KY and Kathy Plowman, Richmond, KY; grandchildren, Ashley, Brian, Nathan, Kristi, Brandon, Doyle, Zack, Brooklyn; greatgrandchildren, Braxton, Kaelin, Addison, Jesse, Avery, Hunter, Natalie, Jayden and Trinity. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert Lewis Pelfrey October 3, 2013; sister, Susie Guinn; grandchildren, Amber “Scooby” Pelfrey and Colton Pelfrey .

A Life Celebration service will be held on Monday, October 8, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday beginning at 10:00 A.M. until the time of services.
