Obituary for Brian J. McAndrews Brian McAndrews, 44, of Estero, FL, formerly of Hamburg, NY, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, April 25, 2018. Brian was born in Buffalo, NY on March 1, 1974. He graduated from St. Francis High School, attended St. Bonaventure University and received a golf degree from The Golf Academy of the South.
Brian worked as a director of outside services at Mediterra Golf Course in Naples, FL. He was a lover of ice hockey and true hockey dad. Riley and Brady play for the Jr. Everblades and Finnegan is just beginning his hockey career.
Brian was also a Notre Dame, Buffalo Sabres, and Buffalo Bills fan. Family and sports were such an important part of his life and who he was. Brian is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Kelley (née Webb) McAndrews; their sons, Riley, Brady and Finnegan; his parents, Gary and Carol (née Daly) McAndrews; his sister, Shannon (Kevin) Krieger; his in-laws, Thomas and Barbara Webb; his sister-in-law, Kristin (Matt) Johnson; nieces and nephew, Callie, Ella and Timothy; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many loving friends.
A visitation will be held on Monday, April 30, 2018 at Shikany’s Bonita Funeral Home in Bonita Springs, FL from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Our Lady of Light Catholic Church in Ft. Myers, FL at 11:00 am.
In Lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be made to the gofundme account to assist with medical expenses and to continue to provide college savings for Brian’s three boys (www. gofundme.com/brian-mcandrews). Arrangements are being handled by Shikany’s Bonita Funeral Home.
