Obituary for Brooksie P Adams Brooksie P. Adams, 98, born in Lincoln, AL, passed away on May 25, 2018 in Greenwood, SC after a long illness. She had resided with her niece and nephew, Frances and Rick DeBaun, for the last 3+ years of her life. Service will be at the Oxford Church of Christ on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 with the visitation at 1:00.

The service will be at 2:00 with Bob Prichard of Birmingham officiating. Burial will be at Forestlawn Gardens. Survivors also include her sister, Louise P. Jones, of Smyrna, GA and many other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents John Wesley Parrish and Lenora Parrish, her husband Luke Adams, 2 brothers and 5 sisters. Mrs. Adams retired from South Central Bell. She had attended the Oxford Church of Christ since 1979.

One of her favorite sayings was “Nothing can hurt me more than God can help me”. Pallbearers will be Howard Dennis, Buddy Cranmer, Charles Dollahite, Chad Dollahite, Buster Hughes and James Jenkins.
