BOLD! STRONG! Sometimes stubborn, Bruce Humphreys was a unique cool friend to many.

Although taken from us too soon his loved ones know he is no longer in pain. He will truly be missed by many. Bruce Alonzo Humphreys, 55, of Staunton, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2018.

He was born in Staunton on April 14, 1963, son of the late Alonzo Eugene Humphreys and the late Eunice Helen Davis. Bruce was a graduate of Bath County High School and was employed with Hampton Inn. He was a lover of nature, enjoyed taking country rides with his friend, Zac and dog, Jack and fishing.

He loved his family and took pride in his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his son, Dakota Nathaniel Humphreys and daughter, Ashley Susan Dunn; his grandchildren, Sophia Jane Lily Dunn and Nora Ann Rain Dunn; his sister and brother -in-law, Denise Kimbo and Harry Kimbo; his nieces, Andrea Lee and Crystal Paul; great-niece, Dieanna Crawford; great-nephews, Lennox and Aarian and special friends, Amanda Barr, Zac Bright, James Mayberry, Drew Willis, Andrew Bailey and Darrel Edwards. A Private Memorial Service will follow cremation.
