Obituary for Bryan Thomas Songe Bryan “BT” Thomas Songe, 86, a native of Houma, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 3, 2018. Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on 1830 Prospect Ave. on July 16, 2018.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with a Memorial Talk given at 1:00 pm. He is survived by his son, Keith Songe and wife Toni; and daughter Monica Songe. He is survived by 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann Songe; daughter, Melissa Robichaux; parents, Freddie “FJ” Songe and Claurence Martin Songe; brothers, Magnus “Mack” Songe and E.J “Buddy” Songe; and sisters, Grace Kraemer and Geraldine “Tippy” Eschete. Bryan had worked in the oil field before becoming a finance manager for Commercial Securities for 8 years. On April 1, 1964, Bryan and his two brothers, Mack and Buddy, opened up Songe Motors in Houma.

His love for people and automobiles made a good combination. He also loved cooking for his family and friends. Bryan was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on May 1, 1943 and was a faithful servant of Jehovah God for 75 years.

He enjoyed sharing with people the “Good News of God’s Kingdom”. He looked forward to the day when God’s Kingdom will be on the earth and he would be united with his family and friends on the paradise earth. The family would like to thank Bayou Health Care, Journey Hospice, and his caretakers; Judy and David Lawson.
