Obituary for Middelton Hale Trotter Middleton Hale “Don” Trotter passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, September 22, 2018, at the age of 85. A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, and a resident of Houma, Don is survived by his three daughters, Teryl Trotter (Tim McElroy), Karla Carlos, and Donna Trotter (Jay Fagan); grandchildren, Kimmie Carlos, Lauren Molaison (Jamie), and Josh Carlos; great grandchildren, Sam and Alex Molaison. He is also survived by his former spouse, Betty Trotter, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Cody P. Trotter, Sr., and mother, Helen Trotter Freeman; three brothers, Cody Trotter, Jr., Bobby Trotter, and Galen Trotter; and his son-in-law, Bert Carlos. He will be remembered for his love of fishing and spending time on the water with his family and friends. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to his compassionate caregivers and to the staff of Hospice of South Louisiana.
