Obituary for Rita Mae Rodrigue Rita Mae Rodrigue, 91, a native and resident of Dulac, passed away on September 24, 2018. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 27, 2018, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Visitation will resume Friday September 28, 2018 from 9:00am until 11:00am at Holy Family Church in Dulac.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 28, 2018 at Holy Family Church in Dulac, at 11:00 am. Burial will take place in the St. Francis De Sales Cemetery No. 2.

She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Morris Rodrigue; 3 daughters – Betty Billiot and husband Aubrey “Teet” , Mary Fitch and caregiver Julia Giovanni and husband Leo; brother – Harrison “Sonny” Parfait; sister – Eva Naquin; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 8 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents – Henry Oleus Parfait and Julian Verdin Parfait; son – Morris Rodrigue, Jr.; brothers, Joseph Henry “Took”, John Abbey, JB Howard “Frog” and Kirby “Nook Koob” Parfait; sisters – Marie Libby Parfait, Mary Lillian Foret; grandson – Troy Fitch.
