Obituary for Stanley Joseph Bussey Jr. Stanley Joseph Bussey, Jr., 86, a native and resident of Houma, LA passed away September 3, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. A visitation will be held in his honor Friday, September 7, 2018, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, West Park (4511 West Park Ave, Gray, LA) from 9 am until funeral time. A religious service will take place at 11 am at the funeral home.

Interment will take place at a later date. A reception will be immediately following at the funeral home. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Carmen Dugas Bussey; sons, Mark (Emily), Stanley (Michelle), Patrick (Joyce) and Corey; daughter, Pamela Dulock (Mike); brothers, Floyd, Richard, Bobby, Jimmy, Morris; sisters Betty Ann and Cathy, grandchildren, Destiny, Joshua, Nikki, Monique, Trevor, Michelle, Whitney, Jade, Madison and Sara; great-grandchildren, Alleigh Rae, Hunter, Harlee, Hailey, Carsen, Corynn, Grayson, Kennedy, Braiden, Cadence and Isaac.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley Bussey, Sr. and Nora Songe Bussey; brothers, Jerry and Charles; sisters, Jeanette, Hazel and Shirley; one grandchild, Derrick. He was a loving and devoted husband and father. He was a wonderful cook and loved to fish, sing and play guitar, play cards and was a true Saints fan.
