He is survived by his wife, Wenona Chaisson Lirette; children, Bridget Lirette; Sunshine Lirette, Curtis Lirette Jr., and Seth Lirette; brothers, Paul Lirette (Theresa),Gary Lirette (Frances), Jessie Lirette (Mercedes), and Phillip Lirette and companion, Robyn; sisters, Debra McCune, Amanda Voisin (Junior), and Rhonda Smith (Edward); grandchildren, Haley Roussel (Keith), Tabitha Lirette, Auston Lirette, Adam Duplantis, Mason Bergeron, Lillyan Giroir, Ryan Giroir Jr., Maximus Pitre, and Seth Lirette Jr.; great-grandchildren, Abrielle Lirette, Ellie Scioneaux, and Serenity Young, with baby boy Evan Roussel on the way. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lirette and Leola DeHart Lirette; brothers, Robert Lirette Jr. and Peter Lirette; sisters, Judy Lirette, Betty L. LaCoste, Brenda L. Liner, and Trudy L. Fanguy; son-in-law, Roy Neil; brother-in-laws, Malcolm LaCoste Sr. and David Fanguy.
