Obituary for Amelia Ann Babin Amelia “Millie” Babin, 51, a native of Chauvin and a resident of Swannanoa, NC, passed away on September 9, 2018. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church – Chauvin from 9:30 am until 11:30 am. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church – Chauvin, at 11:30 am.

Burial will take place in the St. Joseph Cemetery. She is survived by her partner and best friend – Rebecca “Becca” White; daughter – Ava Olivia White; sister – Natalie Martin and husband Tony; brother – Kelly Babin and wife Stacey; godchildren – Brittany Bonvillian, Christopher Babin, Beau Verdin, Stephanie Molinere and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reggie Sr. and Ouida LeCompte Babin; sister – Denise Babin Bourque; brother – Reggie Babin, Jr. A memorial service will be held at a later date in North Carolina.
