Obituary for Florence Hotard Florence R. Hotard, 72, resident of Montegut, passed away on September 17, 2018. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 20, 2018, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and resume Friday from 9:00am until 11:00am. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue, at 11:00 am.

Burial will take place in the Rogers Cemetery. She is survived by her husband – Eldred Hotard Sr.; daughters – Donna Farmer and husband Earnie, Naomi Authement and husband Bart; sons – Eldred Hotard, Jr. and companion Becky, Anthony “Tony” Hotard, Sr. and wife Darlene, Alex Hotard and wife Dawn. Grandchildren – James, Eldred III, Leslie, Joshua, Kristie, Derek, Travis, Aaron, Gage, Megan, Anthony Jr., Ashley, Cody, Christopher, Charles Jr., Shane, Alexis, Allison, Ali and Ethan.

29 great-grandchildren, brothers – Robert, Roland, Richard, Ray and Frank Naquin; sisters – Anne, Ezea, Yvonne, Helen and Betty. She was preceded in death by her parents – Francis and Hilda Naquin; sisters – Wilda and Karen Naquin. Online condolences can be given at www.
