Obituary for Buddy Hulse POINT – Memorial services for James “Buddy” Robert Hulse, Jr., 56, of Point, will be held at a later date by the family. Mr. Hulse passed away November 6, 2018, at a Greenville hospital. He was born September 17, 1962, in Greenville, to James Robert Sr. and Betty Rose Frazier Hulse.
Buddy married Katina Diane Suel on September 15, 2000, in Deport. He lived the last six years in Rains County. He was a trivia buff and a small screen Western and Perry Mason fanatic.
He loved the outdoors, camping, and fishing. Buddy had an infectious laugh that we will miss dearly. This man always had a story to share and most were hard to believe at first.
More often than not, Buddy’s tales were true. It was easy to see the joy he felt as he entertained his loved ones and guests. He will be greatly missed by those he has left behind.
Survivors include his loving wife of 18 years, Katina Diane Hulse of Point; son, Zachary Hulse of Quinlan; daughters, Shelby and husband Chad Crow of Point and Cheyenne Little of Ashdown, Arkansas; brother, Jerry Hulse of Ashdown, Arkansas; sisters, Dixie Hulse of Arkansas and Dee Anne and husband Austin Lewellen of East Tawakoni; three grandchildren, Elvis, Ashton, and Bryer; beloved cat, Felix; and numerous other relatives and friends.
