Buford Van Endsley, age 93 of Cornersville, died Tuesday, May 8, 2018 in St. Thomas Midtown Medical Center. Mr. Endsley was a native of Marshall County, Tennessee born April 24, 1925 son of Virgil and Irma Pruitt Endsley. He was a graduate of Belfast School in the class of 1944.

He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the liberation of the Philippines in WWII and retired from International Comfort Products. He was a member of the Cornersville Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Lynnette Isley, two brothers, Wilferd Endsley, and J.K. Endsley, and two sisters, Aline Pigue, and Catherine Brazier.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-eight years, Eva Smith Endsley of Cornersville, son, Terry (Windy) Endsley of Lewisburg, two daughters, Donna (Ted) Nelms and Debbie Endsley both of Cornersville, two sisters, Janice Endsley of Lewisburg and Brenda Day of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, four grandchildren, one great grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted by Randy Curtis Friday, May 11, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. from the chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home with burial to follow in Short Cemetery with military honors. The family will be at Cornersville Funeral Home Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. for visitation.
