Margie Dean Walker, age 85 of Lewisburg, died Saturday, May 05, 2018 in NHC Oakwood Healthcare. Margie was a native of Marshall County, Tennessee born January 22, 1933 daughter of Tom and Lucille Pigg Wakefield. She was the cafeteria manager at Cornersville High School for several years.

She was a member of the Hardin Chapel Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billie Walker, four brothers, George Earl Wakefield, James Walter Wakefield, Larimore Wakefield, and Alfred Wakefield, and one sister, Louise Wakefield. She is survived by one son, Charles Edward Walker of Smyrna, two daughters, Donna (Joey) Kleine of Lewisburg, Kathy (Clift) Warren of Belfast, brother, Thomas (Carol) Wakefield of Verona, five grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted by Ron Kleine Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Short Cemetery. The family will be at London Funeral Home Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. for visitation. London Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
