Hagerstown, Maryland-Burnell Everett Dilley, 88 of Hagerstown, MD and formerly of Williamsport, MD passed away on Monday March 4, 2019 at Meritus Medical Center. Born in Sutton, WV on September 14, 1930, he was the son of the late Javis and Katherine Cottrill Dilley. He served in the US Army in Korea.

Burnell retired as a Truck Driver with the Lance Cracker Company. He was of the Methodist faith. He was a member of American Legion Post #202 Williamsport, MD and he owned and operated the Shell Service Station in Williamsport for several years.

Burnell is survived by his wife of 61 years Jean Dilley, a daughter Sheryle Evasic and her husband Ronald of Hedgesville, WV, a grandson Robert Evasic and his wife Breanne of Tekamah, NE, his loving great grandchildren Emilia, Isabella and Wyatt and a sister Susan Holbin of Front Royal, VA. There will be no viewing or services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Williamsport Volunteer Fire and EMS 2 Brandy Drive Williamsport, MD 21795.
