Obituary for Cameron Gregory Hohl Cameron Gregory Hohl was born to Greg and Debra (Tremblay) Hohl on January 19, 1991 in Lincoln, Nebraska. Despite his lifelong battle with a seizure disorder, Cameron was a brave, beautiful, loving and courageous young man who blessed all who had the privilege of knowing him and experiencing his infectious smile, laugh and happy nature. He taught joy.

He showed people how to carry on even through the hardest of times because life is a gift from God. Cameron demonstrated that how one chooses to respond to life’s trials is their own choice. Cameron always chose happiness, and he shared that happiness with every person he met.

He taught the power of a smile and how, sometimes, all that is needed to brighten up someone’s day is a smile. When Cameron smiled, he really smiled. He taught how to love without the expectation of something in return and how to give freely and simply for the joy of giving and blessing others.

He led people to a deeper level of patience and understanding, and taught them to search deep inside people and to never judge a book by its cover. God used Cameron in the lives of so many people – and He still is! To meet Cameron was to meet an angel in person.

An angel with the most beautiful blue eyes! Cameron is survived by his parents Greg and Debra (Tremblay) Hohl of Wahoo; brother Christian Hohl of Omaha; sister Caroline Hohl of Brooklyn, NY; grandmother Ethel Hohl of Wahoo; aunts and uncles Cindy Hohl of Omaha, Debbie (Joe) Spicka of Wahoo, Kathy (Kevin) Kammer of Wilmington, DE, Mary Hohl of Phoenix, AZ, Tammy (Monty) Zantow of Omaha, Mike Dillon of Lincoln; great-aunt Carolyn Blobaum of Ashland; first cousins Angie (Kevin) McCartor of Gretna, Kristin Bender of Bennington, Michael (Jen) Spicka of Wahoo, Nicole (Tom) Josephsen of Wahoo, Eric (Cheyenne) Spicka of Wahoo, Ryan (Katie) Kammer of Bloomington, IN, Rachel Kammer of Southbend, IN, Megan Kammer of Upland, IN, Olivia (Jason) Rypkema of Omaha; second cousins Maya McCartor, Keagan McCartor, Kyan McCartor, Ava McCartor all of Gretna, Hudson Bender, Harper Bender both of Bennington, Aliza Spicka, Dylan Spicka, Maizie Josephsen, Everett Josephsen all of Wahoo, Natalie (Terry) Sell of Des Moines, IA, Nicole (Dan) Chudomelka of Ashland, Kim (Scott) Parde of Beatrice, Jeff (Kari Weerts of Lincoln; third cousins Chloe Rypkema, Justin Sell, Jenna Sell, Leslie Chudomelka, Bryce Chudomelka, Camden Parde, Makenna Parde, Elle Weerts and Collins Weerts.
