Obituary for Robert G. Wagner Robert G. “Bob” Wagner, life-long resident of Ithaca, Nebraska, passed away peacefully in his sleep Wednesday March 14, 2018. He was born July 2, 1924 to Glenn and Lena (Patzloff) Wagner. Bob attended school in Ithaca through the tenth grade and graduated from Wahoo High School.

On January 5, 1947 he married Gloria Gustafson in Ceresco. Bob was a long-time employee of Jordan Plbg. & Htg.

in Wahoo and a was life time member of the United Methodist Church of Ithaca. He served on the Indian Mound Cemetery Board for many years and was a member of American Legion Post #82 in Wahoo. Bob served in the United States Army during WWII in Germany and Belgium, including the Battle of the Bulge.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law James (Jeanette) Wagner of Lincoln, formerly of York; grandsons Scott (Leslie) Wagner of Nebraska City, Brent (Amy) Wagner of Lincoln; great-grandchildren Cosette, Clifford & Aspen; sisters Myrle Moline of Ithaca and Glenna Gustafson of Wahoo; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by wife his Gloria, infant daughter Jane, parents Glenn & Lena Wagner, sister Helen Luhnow. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Robert G.
