Obituary for Mr. Carl Brostrom Carl Philip Brostrom died on June 4, 2018 at the age of 95. He was born October 24, 1922 in Bergenfield, NJ and lived there until moving to Beaver Brook in 1991. After 15 years in Annadale they moved to Erickson Seabrook Village, Tinton Falls, He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Doris M. Brostrom, and his daughters Karen Brostrom, Nancy Bacci (Jim) and Barbara Merboth (Larry).

He was predeceased by his son John Philip (widow Frances Brostrom-Morris) in 2008. He was loved by nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Carl worked for IBM from 1941-1979 except for three years service in the Navy during World War II.

Upon retirement, Carl and Doris traveled widely, looking up information on their European heritages. A family memorial service will be held at a later date. To send a memorial gift to the family of Mr. Carl Brostrom please visit our Sympathy Store.
