Carl Bryan Trotter, Sr., 92, passed from this life at his home in Gardendale on May 22, 2019. Visitation will be Friday, May 24, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Decatur Highway Church of Christ in Gardendale with a funeral service to follow at the church at 11:30 a.m and burial at Oakwood Memorial Gardens. He was retired from American Cast Iron Pipe, a World War II Navy Veteran, and a member of Decatur Highway Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Jean Melvin Trotter. Survived by children, Terry Haddock, Vickie Greene, Carl Bryan Trotter, Jr. and Tina Belcher; sons-in-law, David Haddock, the late William “Bill” Greene, and Mike Belcher; daughter-in-law, Lynn Trotter; six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Children’s of Alabama, Amelia Center, 1513 4th Ave South, Birmingham, AL 35233.
