Carl’s Obituary Carl Wilson Hall, 88, of Latrobe, died on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. Born February 9, 1930 in Mechesneytown, he was a son of the late George W. Hall and Bertha (Kowatch) Hall. Carl and his wife enjoyed gardening, especially planting red impatiens.

He worked for ATI, Vanadium, for over 40 years and retired in 1992. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Leroy Hall; and two sisters, Eleanor Galinac and Marilyn Hall. Carl is survived by his wife, Ann C. (O’Donnell) Hall, of Latrobe; three daughters, Denise Kochersperger (Stephen) of Boalsburg, PA and Arlington, VA, Darlene Miller (John) of Derry, and Debra Hamerski of Latrobe; nine grandchildren, Heather Schmidt (Patrick) of Manassas, VA, Anna Kochersperger (Jason Grottini) of Boalsburg, Geary Kochersperger (Meghan) of Lansdale, PA, Megan Wilford (Jason) of Blairsville, Devan Kochersperger of Portland, OR, Kayla Fraicola (Jason) of Latrobe, Eli Kochersperger (Kasia) of Pittsburgh, Seth Kochersperger of Pittsburgh, and Chelsey Hamerski of Latrobe; and one great-grandson, Hunter Wilford of Blairsville.

Family and friends will be received from 9 to 11 am Friday at the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME, INC. , 601 Weldon Street, Latrobe. Military services will be conducted at 10:30 am Friday in the funeral home by the Latrobe Derry Veterans Honor Guard.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am Friday in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Unity Cemetery.
