Obituary of Carl Sellers Carl E. Sellers, 84, of Heritage Village Retirement Campus Gerry, formerly of High Acres, Bemus Point passed away Saturday (January 26, 2019) in UPMC Hamot, Erie, PA. He was born September 23, 1934 in Goodell, IA, the son of the late Everett and Cora M. Simms Sellers. Carl was a graduate of Kanawha High School in Iowa and was employed for 42 years at Anderson Screw Products retiring in 1996.

He was a member of the Peace Wesleyan Church in Falconer and served as church organist and pianist. Carl had served as church organist in three other churches since 1961. He was also a member of Best Years Fellowship and enjoyed music, singing and playing at evening services and at nursing homes.

Surviving are three sons: Rev. Bruce E. (Linda) Sellers of Lancaster, PA, Duane L. (Gena) Sellers of Kaufman, TX, Mark A. (Sandy) Sellers of Colorado Springs, CO; five grandchildren: Jessica Jones, Ashley Sellers, Amanda Sellers, Aimee Brown, Emilee Sellers; and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Joan C. Humiston Sellers whom he married May 28, 1954 in Mason City, IA, who died November 18, 2016.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2019 in the Falconer Funeral Home. Rev. Jason Claydon pastor of Peace Wesleyan Church will officiate.

Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2019 in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be donated to Peace Wesleyan Church, 126 W. James St., Falconer, NY 14733.
