Obituary for Carlos E. Pope Carlos E. Pope, 64, of Upton, passed away Saturday January 5, 2019 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. He was born in Moline, Illinois to Bernice and Ruth Taylor Pope. Carlos was a computer programmer.

He enjoyed playing gospel music on his guitar and was a member of Dorsey Chapel Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, one Sister, Karen Lyons, and one Grandchild, Robert Lee Beasley. He is survived by one Son, Robert Pope of Upton, KY, three daughters, Carrie Beasley of Roachdale, IN, Jamie Cox of Lebanon, IN, Elizabeth Hatch of Paragon, IN, one brother, Gary Pope of Greenwood, IN, 9 Grandchildren, and 2 Great Grandchildren Memorial Services will be held 3:00 pm Monday January 14, 2019 at Manakee Funeral Home in Upton, Ky.

With Rev. Louis Humes officiating. Visitation will be Monday 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Manakee Funeral Home in Upton.
