Carlus R. Grant, age 59, of Newburgh, IN, passed away at 7:52 a.m. on Sunday, July 1, 2018, at home. Carlus was born September 12, 1958, in Princeton, KY, to Joetta (Lane) Grant and the late Bobby L. Grant. He graduated from Bosse High School in 1976.

Carlus was employed at Methodist Temple, and he enjoyed being a caregiver to his mother. He is survived by his mother; close family friend, Star Mullen; son, Sean Grant (Katy); daughter; Brooke Hughart (Nick); brother, Michael Grant; and grandchildren, Garrett Grant and Aiden Hughart. He is preceded in death by his father; and brother, Richard L. Grant.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Andy Payton officiating. Burial will be in Bates Hill Cemetery in Yankeetown. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time, July 5, 2018, at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL.
