Obituary for Carol Ann (McGuinness) Geier Carol Ann (McGuinness) Geier passed away at her home on Bainbridge Island, WA on 11/26/2018. She was born in New York City, NY 12/17/1948 to James R and Margaret A McGuinness. She was predeceased by her parents and brother James R McGuinness, Jr. Carol grew up in Valley Cottage, NY, married John L Geier (Jack) in 1978.

They moved to Pendleton, OR for several years and then settled on Bainbridge Island, WA. Her career was working as a client representative in the business offices of the telephone company in New York, Pendleton, OR and she retired several years ago from Qwest in Seattle. She is survived by her brother Robert J (Debbie) McGuinness in Valley Cottage, NY, nephews Robert J Jr (Kristin) and John R (Carol), great nieces Ella, Alexa, Keira and great nephew Liam.

Carol is also survived by friends David Whited, Dennis & Veronica Campbell, Jan Pyke and many others who helped her throughout her illness. She also leaves behind her cherished puppies named Hellfire and Brimstone. Memorial donations can be made to Paws of Bainbridge Island and North Kitsap 4688 Lynwood Center Rd NE, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110 pawsbink.org/ A graveside service and burial in the family plot at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Nyack, NY will take place at a later date.
