Carol Ann Brant, 70 of Jeannette died Sunday November 4, 2018 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. She was born December 22, 1947 in Greensburg a daughter of Lois Jean (Lefevre) Smith Steiner of Greensburg and the late Russell C. Smith Sr She was a member of FOE # 844 of Jeannette.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Brant, and a brother Russell C. Smith Jr.. In addition to her mother she is survived by her children Kim Young and her husband Matt of Penn Twp. , John Dorf and his wife Lisa of Jeannette, Chuck Brant of Jeannette, Debbie Brant of Greensburg and Randy Brant and his wife Chris of Maryland, seven grandchildren Melissa, Andrew, Emily, Brittany, Cody, Nathaniel and Lauren, five great grandchildren Chasidie, Jaden, Autumn, Xander and Gracelynn.

A memorial gathering will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM at the Eagle’s Club 223 S. Fourth St. Jeannette. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the funeral home. To send online condolences or make a memorial contribution visit www.
